Something went WRONG. Now We're Sailing to Belize & the World's 2nd Biggest Reef!

Something went wrong crossing the Rio Dulce bar — and we didn't see it coming. Not on a day that looked this perfect.
After months of refit work in Rio Dulce, Guatemala, we are finally ready to leave. But before we go, we have a confession — we promised you Honduras. Honduras isn't happening. Visa timing and not enough time, decision made. We're heading straight to Belize — and the world's 2nd biggest barrier reef system.
First though — a couple of days of much-needed rest at Cayo Quemado Bay. Then the paperwork gauntlet at Livingston to officially check out of Guatemala. And then... the bar. The infamous Rio Dulce bar. The same one we ploughed our way through on the way in.
Getting out is a completely different story. We had a plan. The bar had other ideas.We're fine. Cordelia's fine. But what happened out there on that calm, beautiful, sunny day is something we genuinely didn't expect.
