Today we have a different style of video for you. We sat down with friends of ours who are also first time new boat buyers. Tim + Kate McGinnis are on a Seawind 1260 and Dale is on the Seawind 1600 Passagemaker with his wife Katrina. We’re sharing our learnings from the entire new boat buying process from purchase, to build, where to take delivery, importing, commissioning and warranty phase. We’ve created this video from our own personal experiences to serve as a resource for first time new boat buyers. What we’re sharing isn’t rocket science but you don’t know what you don’t know or your expectation may be entirely different from reality. Now that the secondhand boat market is slim to none there will be a lot more people buying a new boat for the first time and we hope you’ll be able to learn a bit from our experience.
