Hiking Cook’s Look on Lizard Island | Stunning Views of the Great Barrier Reef Ep 219

We have had Lizard Island on our bucket list for a while but living on a boat means there are always reasons why you can't make it. However, we did finally get there and the sailing was superb. Once on the island we decided to follow in Captain Cooks footsteps and hike to the look out point at the top . We did it for the exercise but they would have done it to figure out how to navigate and get out of the reef system. As we sail along we realise how tricky it is navigating in these waters. Reefs pop out from nowhere so you have to keep a good lookout at all times.
We sail to the most Northern point in Australia and arrive in Hook Island and then the next day cross to Thursday Island where we check out of Australia.
