It's time to haul the Beaver out of the water again this time to make preparations for our Pacific Crossing and also to get her annual beauty treatment. We have previously noticed some play on our rudder, so this time we decided to take it off, inspect it properly and change the bearings. Lucky we did, as to our surprise we discovered water inside the rudder and corrosion on the shaft connection. Check out the video to see how it all turned out.

A couple from Australia and Norway who set sails from Norway on a Beneteau Oceanis 40 in late 2018 to explore the world by sailboat. (Yup, another sailing couple doing the standard route and documenting it on film.)
