My New Yacht Finally Made It… Now the Scary Part Begins
After months of waiting, my brand new Island Spirit catamaran has finally made it from the factory to the marina! The boat was trucked 38 kilometers down the road, and now the real work begins.
In this episode, we watch the crew carefully unload the yacht from the truck, move it into position at the marina, glue the keels into place with hydraulic presses, step the mast with a crane, and lift the hardtop into place. These are some of the biggest and most stressful steps before the boat can finally go in the water.
The new Sailing Doodles yacht is getting closer and closer to launch day, but there is still a lot of work left before she is ready to sail.
