In this episode of Sailing into Freedom, we dive back into the archive for a stunning paragliding adventure in Italy. I’m chasing lift along the mountain range, reading the terrain, working weak thermals, and trying to decide whether the day is strong enough to push toward the Dolomites. Along the way there’s proper flying talk — thermals, inversion layers, rotor, ridge lift, crossing valleys low, scratching back up from the treetops — mixed with classic Plucky commentary, dodgy camera angles, roadside surprises, and the usual moments where everything feels either beautifully under control… or one step from disaster.
