Contracting a deadly disease while sailing remote Indonesia - (Episode 338)

In this episode we interview Dan and Julia, who went through a horrific ordeal in remote indoneisa, where Julia contracted malaria, and no one was able to diagnose her correctly until it was almost too late. Her organs started to shut down, and she puts her survival largely down to the fact that she got an emergency medevac flight back to australia for treatment. She is very lucky to be alive, and this is an eye opener for all of us traveling in these parts of the world….
