Why SAILING UPWIND in a catamaran SUCKS!! - (Episode 340)

In this episode we have one problem after another, starting with our water maker failing in the middle of nowhere with 6 thirsty crew on board and nowhere to bunker water. Then we push off towards Malaysia only to get hit with 30 knots on the nose, something all catamaran owners try to avoid at all costs!

SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. They found bulkhead damage on their catamaran in Panama, so have fixed her up, and are now sailing through Asia and planning to cross the Indian Ocean!!
