Lightening Strikes! | Sailing To Sucia Island! Ep. 54
Ahoy! In this one, we sail from Point Roberts, Washington to the beautiful Sucia Island. As we approach Sucia Island, an aggressive cold front moves in, changing the weather from sunny and warm to stormy and cool. We anchor in Echo Bay, then go ashore just as the first heavy rain showers arrive, then out of nowhere, thunder booms nearby!
In the middle of the night, we awoken by a very lively thunderstorm. With thunder still rumbling the next morning, we hastily make our way back to Bellingham as we deal with constantly changing winds. Once back in Bellingham, Trevor does a solo mission to tie up at the marina, only to be turned around by no space. This episode ends with a few boat chores. Next up, leaving for Mexico!
