We've sailed a lot of miles through many gales, but this was our biggest lightning storm ever. It was a relentless dirty, rotten storm. Lightning hit the sea every 10 seconds and lit up our sailboat for hours. The wind picked up to 35+kts so we made good speed, but man alive, that lightning just kept coming!
