We wake up in the remote Danpaati River Lodge deep in the rainforest to find we are sharing our cabins with a variety of creepy crawlies. We have a go at carving a Kalabash and fishing for Piranha before heading off to a the local village of Pikinslee to visit the Saamaka museum where we learn about history of village life and slavery in the rainforest. We also find out why our masks are creating so much suspicion!
