SDA189 Red Shrimp, Baby Bats & 663 Feet of Nope, Dean’s Blue Hole, Bahamas
In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel, we sail from Conception Island to Thompson Bay, Long Island, where we meet our friends and tour the island by car for the first time. A hidden cave full of red shrimp tucked behind an historic church also reveals baby bats, and we got to dive the famous Deans Blue Hole for the first time ever! How deep can I go?
*in real time, we've been struck directly by lightning. All of our navigation systems, running, navigation, anchoring and work lights and much of our freezer capacity is badly damaged, as well as keel damage. Lightning exit or bottom strike while we were dragging at over 62 knots, we're not sure.
