SDA194 Something Bad Happened Here
In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel, we set sail from Water Cay to Flamingo Cay, eager to explore hidden caves and snorkel in crystal-clear water. But paradise had a plot twist. Scattered across the seafloor and up on the beach were pieces of a wrecked sailboat, a salty mystery tucked into this stunning island backdrop. With triggerfish, barracuda, and angelfish along for the dive, we explore the beauty and the unexpected.
*in real time, we've been struck directly by lightning. All of our navigation systems, running, navigation, anchoring and work lights and much of our freezer capacity were badly damaged, as well as keel damage. Lightning exit or bottom strike while we were dragging at over 62 knots, we're not sure.
