I Had to Return My Yacht and Go to the Hospital

This was not how I expected this sailing trip to end.

After finally getting the yacht back out on the water, I had to return to the marina because my health issues were getting too serious to ignore. I’ve been dealing with blood clots and thrombosis in my abdomen, and it was time to go to the hospital to find out what is really going on.

In this episode, I bring the boat back, head in for more tests, and try to get answers about what’s happening inside my body — and whether I’ll be able to return to normal activity, sailing, and life on the water.

It’s a scary moment, but hopefully this is the step that gets me closer to answers.
