Solo via Sea and Seine to Paris #11 | Did I make the wrong decision?

I left The Netherlands in august 2025 with 'destination unkown'. Whilst en route I thought it would be a nice idea to grab a croussant in Paris. This is my journey.

I set off early in the morning for a 65-nautical-mile passage. However, after taking some time to enjoy the breathtaking white cliffs of Étretat and flying the drone, I missed my ideal slack water window. Pushing both engines against a brutal counter-current, the journey quickly turned into a race against time to reach the River Seine and the lock at Honfleur before dark!
