THE SECOND CHANCE: Navigating 32 Tons to Paris alone

Footage: 2025-08-09. (s6, e01) - They say the sun is the best medicine. After years of preparing, I am finally sailing my 32 ton, 50 ft floating home to a place where the sun always shines. But the road was brutal.

In 2023, my first attempt ended in disaster when BOTH my main engines died on the North Sea. I was stranded. It took a miracle—and the overwhelming generosity of my viewers through a €20.000 crowdfunding campaign—to get the Lady Liselot back to life.

Now, with a second chance, I am on a mission. I am exploring every river that leads to the heart of Europe. We are aiming for Paris, cruising the River Seine all the way to the Eiffel Tower. But before I could enjoy the peace of the inland waterways, I had to escape the chaos of the coast.

This is Day 1. It’s 5:50 AM, my patience has run out, and the tide is turning. We are leaving the Netherlands, heading for Blankenberge, Belgium.
