Ever sailed and stayed in SW Florida near the Everglades? While not on the typical sailors’ path, we found many great opportunities to enjoy the area. This area is known as a fishing paradise with plenty of eco tours and wildlife viewing - especially manatees, alligators, panthers, coyotes and black bears. A bit north, there are plenty of beaches for walking and seashells for collectors.
