Sailing the spectacular, remote islands of the South Pacific we’ve learned to embrace the unexpected, and cultivate resilience. Though mostly self-sufficient, life demands us to re-provision, to gather the needed parts and pieces of the modern world so we find ourselves in Hiva Oa, the heart of the southern Marquesas. There we found no welcoming embrace, only a crowded harbor, a mocking rocky bottom, laughing at multiple attempts to anchor. Relieved to have finally hooked, a rude awakening in the middle of the night was the next jest from the joker we call life.

We hope to inspire people and showcase the possibility of living an alternative lifestyle that provides freedom and fulfillment, all while keeping it real. Sharing the trials and tribulations of living off-grid, acknowledging the discomfort of detoxing from the modern world, finding pleasure in the subtleties of nature and joy in simplicity. Attempting to understand what makes the world tick and tock but also trying to gain a deeper comprehension of ourselves and identify what will satisfy that hunger for further exploration, for purpose.
