36 Knots in a Dinghy, Nearly Overboard, The Secret of why we leave Belize

Our last night in Belize was not what we planned. Thirty-six knots. In a dinghy. With Gus. At night.

What started as a peaceful final evening at anchor turned into one of the most frightening moments in seven years of liveaboard sailing. A lightning storm hit fast and we were caught out in the dinghy because we had to get to Cordelia.

But that wasn't even the biggest news. We'd been keeping a secret that was about to change everything.
