Ep.79 How we AUTO-TACK & onboard ACCIDENTS | SV Cordelia

The ease of moving from anchorage to anchorage in northern Sardinia makes for a #cruisersparadise. Although a lot of beaches are cordoned off for swimmers during the summer months, there are so many beaches that you can still reach and use.
The wind whistles through the north at times, but protection is easy to find. rubbish is easy to get rid off and laundry is easy to do. Water can be bought for those without a watermaker and fuel can be found in many towns.
Not enough good things can be said about cruising Sardinia as a liveaboard.
Being fairly near the strait between Sardinia and Corsica the wind whistles through at times, but protection is easy to find and creates great sailing conditions too. Whilst on one of these sails we attempt the auto-tacking option that we have on the auto-pilot. Something we have never used before.
