We freedive the deepest blue hole in the world (BAHAMAS)

Dean's Blue Hole is the world's second deepest blue hole with an entrance below the sea level. It plunges 202 metres (663 ft) in a bay west of Clarence Town on Long Island, Bahamas.

The Earth in the Bahamas really is flat. The depths are very shallow and the islands don't reach
more than few meters above sea level. Imagine a 202 meter deep sink hole just few meters of the beach. It being in the water makes it actually a blue hole.

Dean's Blue Hole is where a lot of freediving World Championships have taken place. As our luck has it we not only got to dive it, but we also met one of the former freediving world record holders practicing. His result is 3 minutes and 10 seconds without breath while reaching the depth of 110 meters and returning to the surface. Wow!
