Ep. 42 - Sails Up, Engine Test and Boat Christening
After getting all the sails back, we put the sails back up! Alan's mom visits from Tallahassee and we take a quick day sail with Alan’s mom and Bri, we were finally able to test our engine underway... No smoke at over 2300 rpms! We leave Green Cove Springs after 8 months and motor up to Jacksonville Metropolitan Free Marina. We decide to go see Fort Matanza National Park and afterwards blow a tire on our rental car! We Christen the boat and say goodby to Leslie who was instrumental in us fixing up the boat before we start heading south on the ICW!
