We got smashed by a squall that appeared out of the darkness without warning and ripped our mainsail from the boom. Now we're anchored at the town of Benteng on the island of Selayar in Indonesia licking our wounds, surveying the damage and working out what we can do about it. That’s the thing with boats. When you break something, you fix it and sail on.
Crisis averted we head to sea again towards our final stop in Sulawesi at the city of Makassar.
