Sailing to a volcano in the middle of the Mediterranean sea! #53

As we sailed past the Aeolian Islands in April 2022 we were in awe and we determined that we would return and explore these little known, reachable only by boat, Mediterranean Islands.

Stromboli, Vulcano, Panarea…..mysterious and beautiful names of islands situated within the magical volcanic Aeolian Island archipelago - and they captured our imagination.

In May 2023 year we returned, sailing our boat and home back, determined to explore. We began by hiking up the island after which all volcanoes are named….Vulcano!

It was, to this day, the most amazing place we’ve ever been and we were blown away…..please join us in this episode on a trip to the summit of this smoking giant….🌋
