We're wrapping up our sailing season with a 250 Nautical Mile sail from Niue to Tonga. It's a perfect 42 hours at sea but the feeling of overwhelm is high. So much to do & so little time.

The Blow Is Coming in 3 days! Yep, it's officially time to sail away from Niue, the most incredible island we've visited yet. If you missed our Niue Adventures check out the playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VovXpRsaYaI&list=PLG5YKEqC5FqtbjPMnf1Hax96ZstCBMtKT

It's a less than 2 day sail and we cross over the international date line...so we're clueless on what day it is, let alone what time we're arriving in Tonga! It's kind of a funny thing we've never really thought about.

The seas start off calm and slowly build with the pending storm heading our way. It's crazy where our minds go when there's time to think. It's difficult to be present in the moment when our minds are overwhelmed by so many questions: Should we sit out cyclone season in Tonga or rush off to New Zealand? Should we fly home and visit family? What about the cats? Which of the broken parts should we replace on our sailboat? Is the boatyard safe if we leave Curiosity? What is all this going to cost us? Where to next? 😱

But as we come within sight of land the overwhelm temporarily fades away and our excitement lifts! Tonga looks freakin' beautiful!

Living #OffTheGrid on a Sailboat for us is all about creating a more sustainable way of life. The more of the world we see, the more we want to preserve it. But, living off the grid doesn’t have to mean sacrificing modern comforts. We believe self-sustainability and comfort can coexist.
From RV to sailboat we’ve lived off the grid for ten years and have learned a lot about renewable energy, creating safe drinking water and managing waste. You can learn more over on our website: https://www.gonewiththewynns.com/living-off-grid-rv-sailboat

Without your support we wouldn’t be here…so, THANK YOU from the bottom of our salty hearts. 😍
