This Dream Takes WORK - Interior Decisions on Our Catamaran Build (MJ Sailing - Ep 303)
A relaxing weekend in Newport? Nope - we're here to WORK!!
Last weekend at this time we were in Newport, attending the International Boat Show. Not only were we excited to hang out with some of the other YouTubers there (we finally got to meet Andy of Boatworks Today!!), but it gave us a great chance to tour many boats of different shapes and sizes to get an idea of how we would like to design our interior.
From multihulls to monohulls, single handing boats to yachts with crew (although that one did not make the final cut into the video), we looked at all kinds of styles to find out what we liked and what color schemes will work with our white oak interior.
It's time to make decisions on things like accent paint colors, fiddles for the counters, overhead lights, overhead liners, and even where to place our air conditioner vents.
The nice thing is, it has reminded us that we're getting to the stage where these decisions are necessary. It won't be long before we're installing all of the things ourselves and looking more and more like a completed boat.
Only a few weeks until we're attending the Annapolis Boat Show, which will have a much wider selection of catamarans and monohulls to look at. Let us know what you'd like to see and we'll make sure to cover it!
We hope you enjoy!
