I was SO happy at 2AM when it was time for our watch shift. Ryan came up from the cabin, we pulled the sails out all the way and after 24 hours on the engine we were finally sailing again!
I was envisioning a good 6 hours of sleep, but that’s not really how the night went :(
I’ve always known that going offshore means being ready to repair about anything at any time, but I didn’t expect how much we’d have to do that. We’ve had a fair share of issues to solve since we departed and listening to our buddy boats, it feels like we are the only ones going through so much breakage!
But the winds are back, Polar Seal is flying over the water again, and the sun is topped up our batteries all the way.
I also decided that it was time for us to start fishing again and we were successful a lot faster than we thought!
