SDA193 Rocks, Reefs & Remoras: The Raggeds Are Wild
In this episode of Sailing Dark Angel, we begin our first real taste of the Ragged Islands with an anchorage at Water Cay. From hiking rugged limestone trails and swimming beneath towering cliffs, to snorkeling with barracuda and spotting sharks, ospreys, and maybe even a pterodactyl? We dive into a wild, untamed corner of the Bahamas. The adventure’s just getting started.
*in real time, we've been struck directly by lightning. All of our navigation systems, running, navigation, anchoring and work lights and much of our freezer capacity is badly damaged, as well as keel damage. Lightning exit or bottom strike while we were dragging at over 62 knots, we're not sure.
