SDA239 Squalls and Injectors
Waking up in the pitch black to thirty-knot winds is stressful enough, but the radio alert about loose boats drifting through the dark mooring field puts everyone on immediate deck watch.
On our mooring in Luperón, we are awakened in the early morning to heavy driving rain as runaway vessels threaten the anchorage. We resume our starboard engine rebuild, diving back into the mechanical grit with the heat exchanger installation, electrical work, and fuel injector assemblies.
