Ep. 86 Prepping for an Atlantic Crossing & UK Visit | SV Cordelia
We have given ourselves 4 weeks in Motril Marina, Spain to haul out Cordelia and prep her for our Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean - YES, it's happening. We have also planned to visit family & friends in the UK as this will be the last time for quite a while.
@marinamotril2767 is a great place to have your boat lifted as they allow you stay aboard and do the work yourself, something very few marina's in the Med allow. We don't have too much to do, but what we do need to do is important.
Visit family is always a 'bitter-sweet' time. We love to see them and miss them all terribly, but they have their lives and we have ours. Unfortunately, we manage to get Covid within a couple of days of being in the UK, so we had to cut short some of our visits and some family we were not able to see at all, making our last UK trip even more upsetting.
