Moments after setting out we find Delos surrounded by 4 whales, then before the excitement can die down the whir of the rod jolts us into action. FISH ON!!! we scream. I'm a little rusty as the fishing was less than hot on the other side... But finally we remember how to do it and land a beautiful mackerel, followed by an amazingly huge mahi-mahi to boot. We successfully round Punta Mala, do a quick surf and head towards Isla Coiba for a week of scuba diving.
