Mooring Disaster strikes while sheltering from wild weather at Clump Point. - Series 3 Episode 70
2nd leg of Series 3 - UP, AROUND & INTO INDONESIA
After a short stop at beautiful Dunk Island, we run to nearby Clump Point at Mission Beach to take shelter from nearly a week of atrocious strong winds and heavy rain. We are boat bound for days keeping a close eye on Our Dreamtime after the multi-million dollar power cat beside us broke from its mooring during the night and wash blown aground on the far side of the bay as a stark reminder of what can happen in a gale.
We’re disappointed not to get our guest crew member Sophie, up to Cairns but the weather wins every time and we have to say goodbye here.
