NEW Adventure: Sailing to Rocket Island!
Part two of my passage from Oita to Amami. Having spent a week in Abaratsu ( Nichinan), first by the Ghost Ship and then at the wonderful Calm Lanai Harbor, we set off for Tanegashima, Japan`s Cape Canaveral. Shin Taro, who helped me install the new alternator, joined me as crew and I was so glad he did. The trip to Tanegashima was pleasant and uneventful, but after that, we had a string of bad luck. More of that to come.
We sailed by Misaki no Uma, where wild horses roam, and then onto Tanagashima.
