24 Days Across The Pacific: From Tropics to Glaciers

Two weeks after arriving in Hawaii from Mexico, Sea Dream of Clyde sets off again — this time 2,700 miles north from Honolulu to Elfin Cove, Alaska.

This 24-day passage to Alaska tested us with lots of heavy sailing, lightning storms, a gale on the nose, shipping traffic, illness, and days of relentless fog. As we pushed north out of the tropics, we had to conduct a critical jury rig to the rigging; going aloft 1000 miles from shore is a spicy experience!

From tropical trade winds to glacial peaks, this is the raw story of the toughest crossing yet aboard our 33-foot sailboat, Sea Dream of Clyde.

Instead of several shorter videos, we have kept this as it should be - one journey, one video. Enjoy the whole ride from Hawaii to Alaska in one show! If you'd like to watch this ad-free head over to our Patreon page where you can sign up for as little as a few dollars!
