OFFSHORE to SAN FRANCISCO: Part 1

At last, we shove off the dock from Neah Bay and do the “big left turn!” We experience varied winds that keep is busy through the first four days of our seven day trip to Drakes Bay, as the crew all settle into their first offshore experience. Unfortunately, Kat is hit fairly hard with seasickness, but does start to get her sea legs with the help of a huge pod of dolphins!
