A broken halyard causes friction | S3 - E21

Things wear out. We were talking about changing the lines when Murphy struck and the main halyard snapped. The main sail started to come down and dragged the end of the halyard up inside the mast.

Trying to feed a replacement through when terrified of heights and having never done this before was an experience I do not want to repeat. But as they say, - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger so I'm much, MUCH stronger now.
