Sails, Solar, Safety, and Sponsors before I leave the Marina! (solo sailing )
Lots to do and to think about as the new year fast approaches. In February, I will leave my mooring at Yumenoshima Marina and set off to Okinawa. Between February and my departure for the solo crossing of the Pacific in June, I will not have permanent harbor.
For the Okinawa trip, I want to be 80% ready for the Pacific Solo crossing. The plan is to gain valuable experience as I cruise blue waters from Tokyo southwest to Japan's tropical islands.
It's all got me thinking about four S's -- sails, solar, safety, and sponsors. All of these things need my attention before I can safely depart.
Any my first nights sleep on my Dormeo Matress Topper was in fact one of the best sleeps I have had in a long time. Thanks Dormeo!
