13 Knots, Big Seas & Dolphins at Sunset | Sailing Back to Fiji's Mainland

After the calmest sailing conditions we've had in ages, this episode flips the script completely. Big seas, building tradewinds, and one of our fastest speeds yet, 13 knots, on our way back toward Viti Levu, Fiji's mainland.
Just before dark, dolphins showed up to ride our bow at sunset as we ducked into a protected anchorage for the night.
The next morning, jet skiers reminded us we were back in civilization after a month of near-total isolation. A local pointed us toward fuel, and we made it to shore for a proper night out, buffet included, no cooking required.
