For eight months, I watched from the sidelines.

While Warren sailed VA from New Zealand to Fiji without me, I was back in Colorado recovering from Achilles surgery — watching the ocean from a distance, counting down the days, wondering what it would feel like to finally get back to the life we'd built together on the water.
This episode is that moment. My moment.

Before heading to Fiji, we make one final stop in French Polynesia — hosting our Patreon charter guests through Bora Bora and Raiatea for one last adventure before the thing I'd been waiting eight months for. And somewhere over the Pacific, with Fiji finally within reach, it hit me that the wait was actually, genuinely over.
